We're going on a Bear Hunt

"We Are Going on a Bear Hunt" is our book of today; we are reading it aloud to the little monsters. It is a funny picture book by British author Michael Rosen about 4 children trekking through nature with their dad in search of a bear.

But that is no easy task! Many obstacles must be overcome, but no one is afraid. Will this little group be able to find a bear? And... what do you do when you find one? You can read all about it in this story :))

The beautiful illustrations in this book were created by well known British illustrator Helen Oxenbury. They are a joy to look at; you can immediately see that the children on the bear hunt are having a lot of fun with their father. Just like us while reading the story.

We Go on a Bear Hunt is a very original and fun story with beautiful illustrations; the book is a pleasure to read aloud. We do adapt the text slightly to our taste. We think the story flows better in English, so the original version gets a 3+.

3+ cheerful shining stars for We're Going on a Bear Hunt, from the little listeners and their readers!
