For Saint Michael, we are going to make a fun little doily with a dragon on it. You can print out our pattern; we have put it in PDF for you, so it is easy to make. You can place the doily anywhere. also on the seasons table. We are also putting a candle on it, which makes it even more beautiful!

Choose the wool felt colours you like, to make your dragon
Trace a small plate or out cut out the pattern.
Pin the circle on and cut it out again.
Remove the pins and set the 2e circle aside.
Pin the dragon pattern onto the felt,
Cut out the dragon pattern.
Pin the dragon on the first circle.
Split a thread in 2 parts and tie on.
Sew the dragon with small running stitches on the circle.
Neatly sew the dragon all around.
Cut eyes and ears or horns for the dragon.
Sew using scraps of felt a rainbow collar around it's head.
Sew on the dragon's tail colours as well, but in the other direction and embroider 'folds' over the wings
Blanket stitch the dragon circle on the plain, second circle.
Find a nice spot for your dragon doily and put a candle on it.
