We have a fun surprise today for our little noisemakers. Carnival is just around the corner—a time when they can make as much noise as they like. There’s the annual party at school, too. There's a parade through the building and parents may come and watch. Prizes are awarded for the best, most eye-catching, and funniest costumes. Such a blast!

There’s plenty of singing, with all the classic Carnival hits making their comeback. The "horse" is back in Neighbor Jansen’s hallway, and the little wheelbarrow is rolling along merrily once more. But once they’re home, our little monsters love to make just noise—the more, the better—and today, they’ll certainly will!

How to make a wooden xylophone
Saw off 2 pieces of 25cm length.
Saw off 1 piece of wood of 8 cm length.
Saw 7 pieces more, increasing with1cm.
Now you have 8 pieces from 8 to 15 cm.
Sand the sawed edges neatly smooth.
Remove the dust using a clean cloth.
Saw 2 dowels of 25cm length.
Paint the dowels and beads gold.
Squeeze a little paint in various colours onto a paper plate.
Paint all 8 pieces each in a different colour.
Paint the 2 support slats in a cheerful colour too and let dry as well.
Stck the golden beads on the golden dowels using some glue, let the glue dry. ;))
Stick the smaller coloured pieces on the heavier support slats.
Allow the glue to dry completely again, the slats will be firmly hammerd.
Then it is time for a xylophone concert, just looking for our earplugs!
Have lots of fun at Carnaval!
