For Christmas we make two cozy gnomes, in red and green. They are holly gnomes so we decorate 1 with tiny holly leaves and the other withthe berries. We sew everything with the blanket stitch, we only thread the neck. The blanket stitch looks neat and it makes swift progress.

Cut out the pattern and pin it on felt.
Cut all the pattern parts out of felt.
Pin the felt on the peg dolls.
Sew suit and hat with the blanket stitch.
Thread the neck of the suits.
Cut out tiny Holly leaves.
Sew Holly leaves or beads on the hat.
Make eyes with black paint and a wooden skewer
String a thread through both capes.
