What do you need?
Stick(s) of approximately 30 cm
Gold paint
Paintbrush
Empty glass jar or cup
Glitter craft cardstock
Shamrock cookie cutter or PDF pattern
Pencil
Scissors
Ribbons or crepe paper
Gold chocolate coin(s)
Craft glue
Glue gun
This coming Saturday is St. Patrick's Day again, so we're already getting started. We're making magic wands for our preschoolers this year. It's really easy: just cut and paste and saw some sticks. It's quick and easy, and we're sure to enjoy it very much, as it'll be a fun surprise for the little ones, on Saturday. ;))
How to make St. Patrick's Day magic wands
Cut off sticks of 30 cm.
Paint them halfway golden.
Let dry and paint the 2e halve.
Trace the shamrocks on cardstock.
Cut out the shamrocks.
Glue ribbons on the back of the shamrocks.
Allow the glue to dry well.
The glue gun works fine and the glue dries quickly.
Our Bear is already very happy with the magic wand!
