What do you need?
very thin elastic
a large needle
woolen felt balls of 2cm
in red, white, blue and orange
a pair of scissors
We make a necklace with a matching hair wokkel of felt balls, for King's Day. The felt balls from Nepal are so beautiful, they come in stunning colours. Our regular model Sabine was immediately willing to show our pretty necklace and hair wokkel (ear wokkel in Sabine's case) for King's Day. We are so happy with her! Not only is she a sweet hugable soft toy, she's also a top model. Glad the stringing is quickly done!
How to make a necklace and a hair wokkel
Stick the elastic in the needle and tie a knot at the end.
String the balls on the elastic in the way you like it.
When your necklace is long enough, tie a knot with both ends.
Cut off the excess elastic and your necklace is ready!
How to make the hair wokkel
String and tie the balls in the same way.
Tie a knot and cut off the excess.
And your wokkel is ready too!
Now you have to wait almost a week and then ... Happy King's Day!
