What do you need?
A printout of the pattern
Colored photo cardboard
A pencil
Scissors
A glue stick
A black felt-tip pen
White paint and a stick
We're finishing the Super Mario garland with three more figures: the Fire Flower, the Mushroom, and the Piranha Plant. We'll make them the same way as the previous three figures. Pin the pattern, cut it out, and trace it. Then it won't be difficult at all!
How to make the Fire Flower
Trace the patterns.
Cut them all out.
How the Fire Flower should look.
Stick the Fire Flower together.
Let the glue dry completely.
Draw eyes onto the flower.
Allow the eyes to dry as well.
How to make the toadstools
Trace the circle.
Cut out the circles.
Cut out the faces.
Trace smaller circles on white cardstock.
Cut out the smaller circles as well.
Trace the edges using the black marker.
Glue the mushroom faces and the dots neatly onto the hats, as shown in the photo below
Draw black eyes on the faces with little white dots.
Allow the glue and the paint to dry completely!
How to make the Piranha plant
Trace the patterns on cardstock.
Cut out the flowers, teeth and dots.
Assemble the flowers with glue.
Draw, cut out and stick the stems together.
Allow the glue to dry completely again.
Stick all the figures on a thread or hang them with mini-pegs.
Find the Super Mario garland a nice spot, to surprise the birthday boy or girl!
