We've started nice and early with making cute felt figures for the little monsters, to hang on St. Patrick's Day. Now we're making a garland out of those figures. It's not much work anymore and it looks very festive on March 17th!
When we lay out the graland we notice that is will be very short >< So we swiftly make some more shamrocks, you never have enough of those anyway. Just as well we started early! We added the PDF again to be sure.
How to make a St. Pat's Day Garland from your felt figures
Pin the patterns onto the felt.
Cut out all the figures, twice..
Pin the figures together.
Sew them together with the blanket stitch.
Leave an opening on the figures to stuff them
Blanket stitch the fill opening closed.
String the felt balls onto a long thread
String the figures in between.
With the 'old' clouds, rainbow and the pot of gold in the middle.
Now just find a fun spot to hang your St. Patrick's Day banner.
We will do it today already, wishing you lots of fun on St. Patrick's Day!
