We're making a paper garland for Saint Patrick's Day. It's just for fun, as it's originally an Irish holiday, but the green looks very cheerful. Folding shamrocks isn't difficult (The little monsters as a choir: "That's what you always say!") But it's really true. They agree later on :)) And the more you fold, the faster it goes. But two or three shamrocks together as one is a step too far for them; they think it's pretty as they are.
How to make a shamrock garland
Cut a strip in half.
Cut the strip on the folding line.
Fold the haves in half.
Curl both sides a little.
You can curl the tops of the strip by gently running the scissors along the paper, just like you curl gift ribbon.
Glue both sides together facing inwards.
Make as many shamrocks as you like.
Fold and glue also some stems.
Stick the shamrocks together as you see in the picture.
We fold a lot of big and little shamrocks.
Find a good spot to hang your garland, it looks very festive!
