Cookie cutter Tree and apple
It is autumn and the mini-monsters love the changing of the seasons. They love the wonderful annual celebrations at school and also the autumn in nature. We search for treasures outside and find more and more. Of course, we also bake autumn cookies—early autumn this time, because our cookie trees are still nice and green!

Here is how to make these autumn cookies
Start by making the dough from the recipe
Wrap the dough really well.
Place it in the fridge for 1 hour.
Then knead the dough briefly by hand.
Roll it to 1cm thickness.
Place a sheet of waxed paper on a baking tray
Cut out the apples and trees.
Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
Bake the biscuits for 10-12 mins until light golden.
Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking tray for 10 minutes.
Then move the biscuits to a wire rack, to cool completely.
The apples have cooled first
Place the biscuits onto a baking mat.
Roll and cut out the red apples.
Cut out the green leaves as well.
Stick the icing onto the biscuits.
Meanwhile the trees have cooled completely as well
Melt the chocolates au bain marie.
Knead the green fondant icing until it is soft.
Roll the fondant thinly, cut it out and stick it on.
Brush the melted chocolate onto the tree trunks.
Press in a pattern using the paint brush.
Allow the chocolate to set a little.
Dab 3 chocolate dots onto the trees.
Stick the M&M's onto the trees with it.
Allow the chocolate to set and serve the biscuits with cups of tea.
Happy Autumn!
