fun For Halloween, we are making a recipe from Kim-Joy, a contestant on the famous BBC television series The Great British Bake Off. During her season, Kim-Joy created the funniest, most original, and most imaginative baked goods you can imagine.
We thought her Halloween monsters were so cute that we wanted to make them for our own little monsters too. We are happy to share her original recipe with you as well.

How to make Kim-Joy's cute meringue Halloween monsters
Place the whisk in the mixer, add the egg whites to the bowl.
Beat the egg whites at high speed into soft peaks.
Add the cream of tartar and the sugar, spoonful by spoonful.
Beat for 30 seconds after each addition of sugar.
When the meringue is smooth and glossy, not grainy when you rub it between your fingers, it is ready
Scoop half of the meringue into a clean bowl
Scoop half of the meringue into a clean bowl
Squeeze in drops of colouring.
Stir the colour until it's well combined.
Spoon the meringue into a piping bag
Preheat the oven to 120°C and place baking paper on your baking tray
Pipe orange blobs on the baking tray and pull out paws.
Stir green colouring in the second half of meringue.
Pipe thick, green meringue caterpillars on the baking tray.
Bake the meringues for 35-40 minutes, or until crispy.
Do Mind! Then turn off the oven and let the meringues cool in the oven for 20 minutes, without opening the door!
Remove then from the oven and let cool completely.
Glue on as much eyes as you like and your sweet monsters are ready!
We wish you a monstrous Halloween with lots of fun and candy!
