200g green grapes
200g red grapes
150g blackberries
1 large orange
1 ripe mango
1 large apple
2 thin round slices watermelon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons maple syrup
We are making a delicious autumn fruit salad now that summer is almost over. With many of our favorite fruits and garnished with edible autumn leaves, the salad looks beautiful. Almost too beautiful to eat, almost ... ;))
How you make this beautiful, tasty autumn salad
Wash the grapes and blackberries.
Allow the fruit to drain well.
Cut the large grapes in halves.
Place the fruit in a large bowl
Peal the orange and discard the white skin.
Peel the mango and cut it into cubes.
Add the orange and the mango cubes to the bowl.
Peel the apple and slice it thinly.
Cut Autumn leaves out of the apple slices.
Toss them with drops of lemon juice.
This is done to prevent dis-colouring of the apple laeves
Cut off two thin round slices from the watermelon.
Cut Autumn leaves from watermelon too.
Place all autumn leaves on top of the fruit salad.
Mix the maple syrup with lemon juice.
Carefully drizzle the dressing over the Autumn fruit salad.
