With a simple recipe from BBC Food, we are baking vanilla cookies that are different from the usual. These cookies are English, not our 'usual' American sugar cookies (which our little monsters love!).
This dough is soft and supple, and the biscuits should be crumbly, no rolling pin or cutters are needed. Plus, they look great for Halloween. We don't have to think twice, we're making them ;))

Pipe the jam into the eyes.
Bake the biscuits for +/- 12 minutes.
Let them cool on the baking tray.
Melt the chocolate au bain marie.
Wait a little until the cookies have cooled and the chocolate has melted
Then draw chocolate mouths on the skeletons, using a skewer.
Allow the chocolate to set before serving the biscuits.
Wishing you a Happy Halloween in advance!
