75g spelt flakes
1 teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

We found a healthy but fun and tasty recipe for horses and ponies online. One that horse boys and girls can easily make themselves for their dearest horse or pony. How convenient, now that World Animal Day is coming up!

Crush the banana.
Add the honey to the banana.
Also add the vanilla extract.
Then mix in the spelt flakes.
Wash fruit and veggies.
Grate half of the apple.
Slice the rest and cut the carrot into pieces.
Preheat the oven to 175°C and place the wire rack in the middle
Place 6 paper cases into your cupcake tin
Place 6 paper cases into your cupcake tin
Press the spelt mixture into the cases.
Decorate the cupcakes with the fruit en veg.
Bake the cupcakes for 20 minutes, in the middle of the oven.
Allow the cupcakes to cool completely in the baking tin.
Then remove the paper cases from the cupcakes.
Your horse or pony will be very happy with your surprise!
