Today we are making delicious tartlets with fresh plums and nectarines. Unfortunately, there were no peaches today, but nectarines taste actually just as good. We are baking half a recipe because the little monsters don't want any, so otherwise we would be eating tarts every day for the whole week. ;))

How to make rose tartletss with puff pastry, plums and peaches
Clean the fruits, don't peel! and slice it thinly.
Cut the puff pastry into 8 long sices.
Brush the puff pastry strips thinly with apricot jam.
Place the fruit slices just above the top edge.
We cut the strips of dough a little wider because we bake only 4 tartlets. From this amountof dough you can make 8 only slightly smaller tartlets. We use the remaining dough for cookies, for our little monsters. :))
Take the dough from the bottom up, over the fruit.
Roll it up neatly like a rose, and place it in the baking tin.
Place the baking tin in the fridge and immediatly put every rose in it.
After the peach roses, you make roses with plums

Make plum roses in the same way.
Put them in the fridge until the oven is ready.
nBake the tartlets for about 20 minutes, until golden.
First allow them to cool in the baking tin.
Place the tartlets on a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust the roses lightly with icing sugar.
Serve the tartlets with tea and/or coffee, optionally with whipped cream or ice cream on the side. But they are also delicious without.
